Your Hasentree round begins with a 466-yard par-4 and closes with an uphill 472-yarder that plays longer than measured. Tom Fazio designed our course with unique features: a double green on the 10th hole and five par-3s, including one that measures 238 yards from the tips. Three of the four par-5s are reachable in two, a stimulating risk-reward feeling for golfers teeing it up amidst the rolling landscape of North Raleigh. Our course’s 7,074-yard, par-71 layout offers wide fairways and strategically placed 88 steep-faced bunkers in landing areas, tucking them around corners of doglegs and close to slick, sloping greens to test your skill levels.
"Our goal is to always beat expectation levels, to give the client something to be proud of, and something that golfers are going to say, ‘Wow, this is as good as any Fazio golf course.’ We met all those expectations at Hasentree." - Tom Fazio
“Pure golf.” That’s how most players describe Hasentree. The Fazio name adds instant credibility and the anticipation of playing a course designed by one of the game’s great architects. His strategic placement of 88 bunkers offer a test to all skill levels. With close to 200 designs across the world, Tom Fazio is the preeminent golf course architect of our generation with more courses ranked among the top 100 in the United States than anyone in the business. Fazio’s design at Hasentree was his 17th in his home state of North Carolina and the only in Wake County.
Enjoying a hassle-free round at Hasentree is the rule, not the exception. This meandering links-style design is generous off the tee, but requires utmost attention when hitting the approach shot.
