Join the L.A. Area Chamber for our Pancakes & Politics Speaker Series featuring Sarah Mahin, Director of the L.A. County Department of Homeless Services and Housing. She will sit down for an in-person conversation on homelessness in Los Angeles. Jose Cuenca's Wine & a Movie | Philadelphia (1993)
Jose Cuenca's Wine & a Movie 7 PM | Complimentary Join Award-Winning Cinema Journalist, Winemaker and City Club member José Cuenca as he presents classic movies and a complimentary glass of his Little Boat or Mateo wines. Screenings will also include a movie introduction, curated discussion afterwards and a special Screening Room food menu MOVIE Philadelphia (1993) When a man with HIV is fired by his law firm because of his condition, he hires a homophobic small-time lawyer as the only willing advocate for a wrongful dismissal suit. IMPORTANT NOTE: RSVP's have priority over walk-ins for regular seating and will be checked at the door. Event is capped at 14 RSVP's due to seating capacity. Members who have RSVP'd must be in their seats no later than 7:05 PM unless they have contacted the front desk ahead of time. Paint & Sip | "Pier at Dusk"
Paint & Sip: Pier at Dusk June 25 | 7pm-9pm | $40++ Experience a creative and relaxing evening of Paint & Sip at City Club LA, hosted by Paint the Town! Enjoy a glass of wine while bringing your artistic side to life as you create "Pier at Dusk," a beautiful coastal-inspired painting. This instructor-led, beginner-friendly class is designed for artists of all skill levels and focuses on creativity, connection, and fun rather than technical expertise. During this two-hour experience, Paint the Town's professional instructor will guide you step-by-step through the painting process. All supplies are provided, including canvas, paints, brushes, easels, and everything needed to complete your masterpiece. Wine, beer, and additional beverages will be available for purchase to enjoy throughout the evening. Whether you're looking for a fun date night, a unique outing with friends, or simply an opportunity to relax and try something new, this event is the perfect way to paint, sip, and socialize. Family Day Campout Join us for a special Family Day Campout on Friday, June 27, as we transform Hole 18 into a starlit retreat for the whole family! Check-in begins at 5:30 PM at The Grove, where each family will receive one golf cart for setup use. From 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM, enjoy tent setup and field games. A delicious BBQ dinner will be served at 7:00 PM, followed by storytelling and s'mores at 8:00 PM, and a movie under the stars at 9:00 PM. An adult bar opens at 9:00 PM (alcoholic beverages available for purchase). On Saturday, enjoy a to-go breakfast at 7:00 AM and pack-out by 7:30 AM. Bring your camping gear, sleeping bags, pillows, and flashlights. No pets or open fires are allowed. Come camp with us and create unforgettable family memories!
